ABOUT US

Founded in 2001, the South Carolina Charitable Bingo Association (SCCBA) was created to support charities that sponsor bingo games in the state. Until the formation of the SCCBA, bingo promoters were the primary influence on legislative and regulatory decisions regarding the industry, an industry that generates in excess of $3,000,000 per year to SC charities and their noble causes.

SCCBA recognized that non-profit organizations needed a place to voice their opinions and guide the industry hand-in-hand with other instrumental business partners like suppliers and players. SCCBA strives to promote public awareness of the positive aspects of bingo play and the goodwill generated across the state by those sponsoring charities. The SCCBA also promotes the bingo industry itself through the establishment and enforcement of the highest levels of standards in any gaming industry through its associations with government relations. Membership in the SCCBA is available to a wide variety of organizations and individuals associated with bingo.

Our mission: to promote solutions that serve the greater good of the bingo industry through positive communication and collaboration with the governing bodies of South Carolina.

The founders of the association have been involved in the bingo industry for more than 18 years and are committed to improving the industry, its reputation, and service to the communities in which bingo operates. Since its formation, the SCCBA has been a leader in numerous achievements for the bingo industry.

The inaugural Board of Directors was elected in March 2004 following the incorporation of the SCCBA.
